Crowley Lake has a special fishing season starting August 1st. No live or scented baits may be used, and you can only keep two trout that are a minimum of 18 inches. It is not required to use barbless hooks, but doing so can make it easier to release smaller fish. You may still keep 25 perch per person, however still no scented baits.
Fishing is great in Hilton Bay, McGee Bay, Green Banks and Sandy Point. Try fishing in 5 to 15ft of water. Use Fish or Frog pattern Thomas Bouyants, Kastmasters, or small rapalas. Other good colors are gold and orange.
For perch, use unscented plastic or feather jigs. Try Green Banks or the 395 west shores.
