1. Every private boat must have a permit issued by authorized personnel of Crowley Lake Fish Camp, Inc. 2. No boat will be certified for launching unless equipped as specified in the Harbors and Navigation code of the State of California. In addition, we strongly recommend each boat have (a) TWO OARS or satisfactory paddles; EXCEPTION: boats 20' or more in length; (b) one Coast Guard approved life preserver for EACH occupant; (c) one fire extinguisher on boats with decked over area; (d) two approved navy or claw type anchors, with 2' of chain. 3. We strongly recommend motors with a minimum of five (5) horsepower. 4. For safety reasons, boats which measure less than 12 feet, BOW to STERN, are NOT RECOMMENDED on CROWLEY LAKE. 5. We recommend no more than TWO PERSONS in a 12 foot boat. 6. Speeds in excess of five (5) miles per hour are prohibited within 200 feet of a dock, pier or gloat and at all times in the South Landing Harbor. Caution must always be exercised within 200 feet of any boat or persons engaged in the act of fishing. 7. Do not ride or fish from your boat's bow or deck unless equipped with bow seating. 8. All vessels must have a clearly display current State registration stickers and identification numbers. Or have a receipt of payment from DMV on possession. |
